Pakistan Bar Council's vice chairman Abid Saqi 'strongly supports' the demands of frontline doctors and paramedics fighting against Covid-19 in Pakistan, the body's secretary Muhammad Arshad said.
The vice chairman supports the enforcement of state's writ for ensuring social distancing in its "true and strict sense", he added.
Saqi urged the federal government to review its policy and ensure "placing of complete lockdown without any exception" throughout the country to save lives, he concluded.
