Air quality in major cities of Pakistan has drastically improved after governments of each province imposed lockdowns, Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA) noted.

In a report, CREA said that due to reduced business activities and a drastic decrease in traffic, nitrogen dioxide (NO2) levels in the air have dropped notably.
