Jamaat-i-Islami chief Sirajul Haq has said that his party's volunteers had taken up a campaign to help people which will continue throughout the month of Ramazan.
He said that his party has decided to suspend all political activities during the pandemic and devote their efforts to provide relief to people affected by the virus.
"Leaving home is a risk, but our workers have accepted this risk, they are visiting homes and knocking on doors to help the people," he said.
