Prime Minister Imran Khan and United States President Donald Trump in a telephone conversation discussed challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic and ways to mitigate its impact.
According to a statement, the premier conveyed "his condolences to President Trump on the loss of so many precious lives" in the US because of the coronavirus.
The US president reassured Pakistan that it would support the country's efforts to deal with the pandemic by "providing ventilators and economic help", the statement added.
