Minister for Economic Affairs Hammad Azhar has announced that the government will place a package before the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) for approval that is aimed at providing relief to people who have been laid off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"This will be a huge programme which will include hundreds of thousands of people," he said, adding that its media campaign will begin as soon as the package is approved.
