The first case of the coronavirus has been reported in Upper Chitral, according to Additional Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Irfanuddin.
Speaking to Dawn, he said: "The 43-year-old patient belonged to Laspur village and had travelled to Chitral from Gilgit-Baltistan."
The patient has been shifted to an isolation ward at Tehsil Headquarter Hospital, Buni while all the people he was in contact with are being traced, he added.
