Two die in accident

SANGHAR, Oct 4: Two persons died when their motorcycle was hit by a speeding pickup of MIC company, engaged in the construction of Chhotiari reservoir. Both the deceased Ghulam Nabi Shar and Ali Hassan Mallah, who were the employees of Shandar cotton ginning factory, were coming to city after performing their duty.

When they reached near Garang bungalow, their motorcycle was hit by a speeding pickup, which was coming from the opposite direction. Mr Mallah died on the spot while Ghulam Nabi Shar succumbed to his injuries at Civil Hospital.

The occupants of the pickup left the vehicle on the spot and fled. Jhol police have impounded the vehicle after registration of a case. Till filing of this report no arrest have been made.
