Minister for Industries Hammad Azhar has announced a list of industries the government has identified as "low-risk" and will be allowed to operate despite the partial lockdown.

The industries are as follows:

  • industries which have labour work on their premises

  • cement and fertiliser plants

  • mines and minerals

  • dry cleaners

  • glass manufacturing

  • horticulture nurseries

  • veterinary services

  • all export industries provided their orders are approved by Trade Development Authority of Pakistan

  • Books and stationery shops
