A World Economic Forum (WEF) article has argued that international cooperation is the only exit strategy for the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the article, the two crucial components in an exit strategy for the coronavirus are massive testing and effective disease surveillance and control, which would only be possible through international cooperation.
Countries will need to cooperate to mobilise testing kits and medical equipment — from swabs for testing made primarily in Italy to ventilators from US and France and form a connected data surveillance system as the intensity of the outbreak switches among countries.
