Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed has taken a suo moto notice "regarding combatting the pandemic of coronavirus" and has issued notices to the attorney general and additional attorney general of Pakistan, interior and health secretaries, chief secretaries and attorney generals of all four provinces as well as Gilgit Baltistan and chief commissioner of Islamabad.
A five-member bench will hear the case on April 13.
