A delegation of a nine-member medical team from China has shared advice on controlling the spread of Covid-19 with Sindh Chief Minister Murad Shah Ali Shah. Urging the chief minister to ensure social distancing, they said China had imposed strict lockdown which is how it had been able to control the pandemic.

Shah said the government had closed businesses, educational institutions and government offices which is why coronavirus has been "contained but more measures are needed to save our people".

The Chinese delegation assured the chief minister that they would provide expertise and other equipment to the provincial government.
