A 65-year-old man in Bahawalpur has died after contracting the coronavirus.
According to Civil Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Rana Muhammad Yousuf, the patient had been brought to the facility in critical condition.
"He was placed on a ventilator but was unable to survive," he said.
Two members of the deceased’s family have also tested positive and have been shifted to the hospital for treatment.
