DG ISPR Maj Gen Babar Iftikahr has said that the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has been formed to collect, analyse and collate data and information, draft recommendations and forward them to the National Coordination Committee — which is being headed by Prime Minister Imran Khan — so that the political leadership can take decisions.
NCOC is being headed by Planning Minister Asad Umar, he said adding the centre was an "operational nerve centre that is being used to synergise the national effort".
