KARACHI, Aug 30: The body of a four-year-old girl was found at a derelict place in Rashidi Goth in Gulshan-i-Iqbal Town here on Tuesday. Umme Khadija had gone missing two days back in Dhani Bux Goth. She was the daughter of a religious scholar Asghar Ali, who also lodged a report with the Sachal police, but no efforts were made for the recovery of the girl.

She was subjected to torture, stabbed to death and her body was later dumped in Rashidi Goth.

Someone in the Goth noticed the body. The police reached the spot and shifted it to a hospital for autopsy.

The post-mortem report suggested that the girl was strangled and stabbed.

SSP Investigation Niaz Khoso said the police have started investigation to find a clue to the killers and the motive of the incident.

In Baloch Colony, a man was stabbed to death by his guests at the former’s residence.

Police said Asif, Wahid Bux and an unknown man came to see Talib Hussain, 35, from Bahwalpur. They stayed at Talib’s home as they were acquaintances. In the early hours of Tuesday, the guests stabbed Talib to death.

Police have arrested Asif and Wahid Bux and have recovered the weapon used in the murder.

ACCIDENT: A truck hit a six-year-old girl in North Karachi on Tuesday killing her on the spot.

Zahida Gohar was playing outside her home when she was hit by the truck.

After the incident, the area people pelted the truck with stones.
