Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation Dr Sania Nishtar said the government has started receiving millions of text messages on 8171 for the cash grant allocated under the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme.
According to Radio Pakistan, those eligible for the grant will be able to withdraw the money by next week (Wednesday).
The PM's aide stated this programme has been launched for those facing financial problems due to the coronavirus outbreak.
