KARACHI: Training for KU officials

KARACHI, Aug 29: The University of Karachi is planning to initiate on-job training programme for its officials. This was stated by Vice-Chancellor Pirzada Qasim while speaking at a reception hosted by the varsity’s Officers Welfare Association in honour of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor Ikhlaq Ahmed.

Prof Pirzada, who presided over the ceremony, asked the officials to enhance their academic and technical capabilities in accordance with the needs of the present era. He said that the usage of computer technology would have a positive impact on their performance.

Speaking on the occasion, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr Ikhlaq Ahmed said that every effort should be made to further enhance the image of this institution. The president of the Officers Welfare Association, Khalid Jamie, presented the welcome address.—APP
