A member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly from Mardan has said that he has tested positive for coronavirus.

In a video, MPA Abdul Salam Afridi stated that after he heard how the people from his constituency were suffering due to the virus, he could not sit idle and do nothing.

"I am not saddened by my diagnosis; my conscience did not allow me to look the other way while others were suffering. God willing, I will recover soon and continue to work for the people of my constituency," he said.
