SAPM Dr Zafar Mirza has clarified that the number of persons who have tested positive among the pilgrims who returned from Iran stands at 588.
The health adviser had earlier announced during a press conference that 2,500 pilgrims had tested positive for the virus. Later, he took to Twitter to set the record straight after TV channels ran the high figure.
