THE Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan issued a notification dated March 17, which entails stringent directives to be adopted by people while travelling to Pakistan.
According to the notification, all passengers, be they Pakistani nationals or foreigners, are required to present a coronavirus clearance certificate issued by the hospital of the country from which they are travelling to Pakistan at the time of boarding. This policy has created panic for people who want to travel to and from the UK. They are clueless about obtaining a clearance certificate from UK hospitals.
To eliminate this dilemma, the CAA should exempt UK residents from possessing this clearance certificate taking into account the ground realities of the UK health system, which is telling people to go for self-isolation.
