ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday inaugurated an e-services mobile app, designed to provide government services to people at their doorsteps.

The app has been introduced by Islamabad Capital Administration and National Information Technology Board (NITB).

PM Khan congratulated the local administration and hoped that this will be replicated in the whole country. “This is a real revolution, the government had dreamed to provide services to the people at their doorsteps and prevent them from facing hassle by going here and there,” he said.

He said 43 different services being provided through the app will help eradicate the culture of long queues outside government offices.

Chief Commissioner Amir Ali Ahmed, giving details about the new app told the prime minister that e-policing, emergency service, domicile, computerized national identity card (CNIC), land record, arms licenses, vehicle registration and vehicle token payments are some of the services which will be offered through the app.

The local administration will offer property transfer services at the doorsteps of residents.Mr Ali said his team along with a National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) official will visit the residence of applicants to complete the process at their doorstep.
