KARACHI, Aug 27: The restructuring of national hockey team selection committee will be done in the next few weeks, president of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Tariq Kirmani said on Saturday.

He was talking to reporters after PHF Advisory Board and PHF Executive Committee meeting.

He said PHF was also keen to have at least four-Test match India-Pakistan series next year because of hectic international hockey schedule.

Kirmani expressed the hope that Super Hockey League to be played next month would not only benefit the players but also lift the standard of the sport in the country.

During the meeting management of Pakistan senior and junior team presented their reports to the PHF Executive Committee.

Manager of Pakistan junior team Muhammad Shafique gave the reasons and his observations for the debacle of junior team in Rotterdam where they finished as low as seventh.
