Adviser to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister on information and public relations Ajmal Khan Wazir says the provincial cabinet has decided to close all educational institutions for 15 days.

They also decided to keep all hostels shut during this time period.

Additionally, the KP cabinet decided that all meetings in festivals and jails will be suspended and social as well as political gatherings will also be restricted.

A public gathering of the chief minister in Swat has also been suspended.

The cabinet decided that weddings and other events should be reduced.

Any decision regarding the Torkham Border will be taken during the NSC meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
