LAHORE: Tauseef Club outplayed Wahdat Eaglets Club by 99 runs in the opening match of the best-of-three series here at the Wahdat Colony ground on Thursday.

Chasing a massive 306-run target, the Eaglets were dismissed for 206 in 30.2 overs as Mohammad Noman (4-27) and Saddam Khan (3-22) bowled well. Ali Raza played a fighting knock of 84 but to no avail.

Earlier, Rahimullah’s century (100) embellished with 13 fours plus half-centuries from Hussain Raza (51) and Mohammad Sohail (57 not out) helped the winners pile up a huge 305 for four in 35 overs.
