Peru President Martin Vizcarra has confirmed that the country had detected its first coronavirus case in a 25-year-old man, who had earlier travelled to Europe, AFP reported.
Vizcarra has called for calm and said that Peru had taken “all the medical measures” to treat the patient, who had been in Spain, France and the Czech Republic. He added that the patient was currently in stable condition.
