JHANG, Jan 16: The revenue officials and staff should provide maximum facilities to the people at their doorstep.

This was stated by the Punjab Revenue Minister, Malik Muhammad Aslam, in a meeting with the officials here on Tuesday.

He urged them to take their time in setting things right and meeting the grievances of the people.

He asked them to provide guidance to the farmers in depositing their Agri-income Tax returns before Jan 31 fixed by the government. He also asked them to speed up the recovery of dues already stuck by the defaulters.

The minister directed the patwaris to be available in their offices in their respective circles and to dispose of the pending mutations. He also ordered them to complete the work of Girdawari in time and help reducing litigation among farmers.
