THE Sindh Public Service Commission advertised the posts of lecturers recently and directed candidates who were interested to apply online.

However, the candidates who wanted to apply for the vacancies faced considerable difficulties when they applied on the SPSC website and found that it was not working properly.

The candidates had difficulty in logging into the SPSC website as it was not acknowledging or accepting the national identity card (NIC) numbers as ID or the passwords of candidates who were already registered with the SPSC. To add to the candidates’ woes, they had no on-the-spot solution at hand to resolve the problem.

Owing to the SPSC website failure many candidates were deprived of an opportunity to compete for a job.

This is a request to the SPSC authorities to ensure the commission’s online application process is easy and error-free.
