KHUZDAR: Three people were killed and 17 others injured in a road accident on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway near Khuzdar on Friday.
Levies officials said a bus overturned before slamming into a truck coming from the opposite direction near the Darhala area of tehsil Ornach. Three people died and 17 others suffered injuries, they said.
Rescuers and Levies personnel reached the scene of the accident and shifted the bodies and the injured to a nearby medical emergency response centre.
The bodies were later handed over to the heirs after medico-legal formalities.
