ISLAMABAD, Aug 17: The Islamabad Cricket Association (ICA) is to hold trials on Aug 22 to select its team for the forthcoming PCB Inter-district seniors championship.

An ICA selection committee headed by Naushad Ali with Khateeb Rizwan, Khursheed Akhtar and Dr. Syed Sohail Ahmed as its members will conduct the trials at the Diamond ground.

The ICA plans to hold a series of trial matches before the final selection of its 20-member squad.

Islamabad beat Rawalpindi in last year’s tournament to lift the title. They will play their opening match against AJK on Sept 5 and 6 at the Diamond ground.
