He said that Kumrat was different from Murree, Malam Jabba, Kalam and other tourist destinations because it had vast meadows and most of its area was plain that was easily accessible.

Another member of the team termed Kumrat a heaven on earth and said that the dense forests with crystal clear water of river and snow-covered meadows had made the valley a special tourist attraction.

The visitors said that Kumrat was a miracle of nature and everyone should visit it both in winter and summer to enjoy its natural beauty. They said they also arranged a wonderful barbecue party on the bank of Kumrat River. They said they enjoyed the trip a lot and were happy with the hospitality of the local people.

Kumrat was explored as a summer tourist destination in the past and thousands of tourists from across the country as well as foreigners visit the picturesque valley in summer.

Some of the tourists, however, complained about dilapidated condition of the road. They said that the valley would receive more tourists if government paid attention to construction of roads in the area.
