Ghulam Abbas advances

KARACHI, Aug 15: Ghulam Abbas sailed into the quarterfinals of the Open Tennis Championship’s men’s singles event with a straight sets win over Kamran 6-1, 6-3 at the Karachi Gymkhana on Monday.

Also to reach the quarterfinals were Khalid Ali, Shabbir and Akber. Khalid win against Manzer, Shabbir beat Saif Noor while Akber reigned supreme against Nasir in straight sets.
