KARACHI, Aug 12: A punishing 94 with 12 fours and a six by Zakir Afridi and leg spinner Azhar Shah’s five wickets for 42 proved too much as Zone-VI Whites cruished Zone-VII Blues by eight wickets in the KCCA Under-17 Inter-zonal tournament on Thursday.

In a low-scoring match Zone-III (Whites) beat Zone-II (Blues) by 23 runs. Zone-III (Whites) Shan Masood (56) was the only batsman to cross fifty in the match which was dominated by the bowlers.

Ahmedullah picked up five wickets for 47 but failed to prevent his side from losing the match.
