Independence Day cycle race on 12th

PESHAWAR, Aug 9: The NWFP Cycling Association would hold the Independence Day cycle race on Aug 12, said secretary of the association Syed Ali Azhar Ali Shah on Tuesday.

Another 100km race would be organized the same day following cycle race, he said adding that the race would pedal off from Ring Road and finish at the same point. All the cyclists affiliated with the association had already confirmed their participation. Cyclists from Kohat, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mardan, Bannu, Hangu, Malakand, Charsadda and Nowshera had been invited to take part, he added.—APP
