HYDERABAD, Aug 9: Fine bowling by Farhan Ayoub helped University of Sindh Jamshoro to register an easy victory against Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro by 64 runs in PCB Inter-Universities cricket tournament Hyderabad Region at Niaz Stadium on Monday.

Batting first, University of Sindh Jamshoro managed 163 for seven in limited 40 overs. Altaf Hussain 47, Asad Siddique 27, Ashraf Khan 22 and Zulfiqar Qureshi 20 were the leading scorers.

In reply, Mehran University Jamshoro bundled out for 99. Only Humayoon Shaikh 17, Muhammad Ashraf 13 and Adeel Imdad 12 reached double figures.

Farhan was main wicket taker claiming four wickets for 17 runs.—APP
