The meeting ended with a possible roadmap for future meetings.

Meanwhile, the UET protested over the death of its gardener Muhammad Ashraf in a road accident near the varsity.

“Several letters have been written by the UET administration to the LDA, Tepa and authorities concerned for the construction of speed breakers to avoid accidents but to no avail,” the varsity said.

It requested the chief minister to take notice of this and order construction of speed breakers outside the varsity.

OKARA: “Universities create social change by infusing innovation, creativity and courage among the youth. That change has always been sustainable and positive,” says Prof Dr Zakria Zakar, vice chancellor, University of Okara, while addressing a seminar on Saturday.

Dr Zakar said knowledge always connected the youth with global communities and by exposing them to new ideas and challenges.

“In this way, the youth becomes more competitive and be a part of global cultural and economic systems.
