Kalabagh dam

Published November 8, 2019

OUR products and services are becoming noncompetitive in the international market because of the high production cost. Electricity is one of the major components and reasons for high manufacturing cost.

I urge Prime Minister Imran Khan to work on Kalabagh dam, which will generate cheap electricity as well as solve water/flood crises.

Imran Khan has a strong government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Therefore, if there are any concerns and objections in the province, they can easily be handled. Reservations of Sindh on Kalabagh dam can be handled by dialogue. The water flow/discharge system can be given to the Sindh government. This will ensure Sindh the availability of water at the Indus basin.
