Engineering workshop concludes

SWABI, Aug 8: A five-day workshop on ‘Matlab and Simulink’ (a tool for engineering applications) concluded here on Monday. The workshop was organized by the Graduate Students Committee, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology.

The aim of the workshop was to inform the engineering students about the most powerful tool of simulation used for system designing and trouble shooting, with the stress on design applications and simulation techniques.

The workshop was attended by the undergraduate and graduate students and the faculty members. The alumni of the institute and Assistant Professor Syed Raza Kazmi of the National University of Sciences and Technology conducted the workshop.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that interaction between the alumni and the students of the institute could be very helpful in their research work and achieving breakthroughs in different fields of engineering sciences and technology.

At the end of the workshop, certificates were awarded to the successful students.
