LAHORE, Aug 7: The three-member delegation of Cricket Australia expressed satisfaction over the briefing presented to it by the Pakistani officials about the arrangements being made to host the Australia ‘A’ team next month. The visitors have been offered to play two four-day matches in Rawalpindi and three one-dayers in Lahore in September.

The delegation arrived in Lahore on Friday and paid a visit to KRL Stadium and Pindi Stadium, Rawalpindi on the following day before ending the tour on Sunday by visiting Qadhafi Stadium.

CA General Manager Cricket Operations, Michael Brown, the head of the delegation said that he was satisfied with the briefing given to his delegation in Rawalpindi and Lahore.

He said that hopefully the itinerary of the tour would be announced in a week.

The CA intends to include some national team players, currently playing the Ashes series in England, with the ‘A’ team, therefore, it gives much importance to the security affairs and sent a three-member delegation.

The other members of the delegation were Chief Executive Cricketers Association, Paul Marsh and security officer Reg Dickason.
