QUETTA, Aug 7: Turbat was rocked by an explosion and an electricity pylon was damaged in a rocket attack in Rakhni area of Barkhan district on Sunday. A locally made device with timer planted near a bakery in Turbat bazaar exploded in the early hours of the day, causing panic in the township. A portion of bakery was damaged and windowpanes of nearby buildings and shops were smashed.
Unknown people fired many rockets at the power transmission line in Rakhni area, of which one damaged a pylon. Power supply was not disrupted, sources said.
