KARACHI, Jan 15: As part of the first phase of the Science Exhibition 2002 of the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK), colleges and higher secondary schools have announced their schedule for the holding of such shows at their respective institutions. This was stated by Secretary BIEK, Prof Abdul Zaheer Khan Paras, on Tuesday.

He said that a team of BIEK will visit these exhibitions and select two projects each from every college in the disciplines of physics, biology and computer science.

The selected projects would be displayed at the inter- collegiate and inter-board exhibitions. St Lawrence College for Girls has already organized its science exhibition on Nov 8.

The Aga Khan Higher Secondary School Karimabad will hold its show on Wednesday, January 16, while the exhibition of the DHA College for Girls will be organized the following day.

The institutions that will organize science shows during the remaining days of the month are: The Govt College for Boys North Karachi, Baharia College Gulshan-i-Iqbal, St. Patrick’s College, Karachi College of Computer Science Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Govt College for Girls Baldia Town, Crescent Public Higher Secondary School Saeedabad, Govt College for Girls Saudabad.

The other institutions out of a list of 24 will organize their science shows in February.—APP
