HYDERABAD: The Sindh Irrigation and Drainage Authority (Sida) was created to ensure participatory irrigation system so that farmers and irrigation department officials would jointly manage water distribution.
This was stated by Sida managing director Wali Mohammad Naich while speaking at the conclusion ceremony of a three-day training programme organised on Friday by the authority.
