LAHORE: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has announced constructing a medical tower in Jinnah Hospital that will house Jinnah Institute of Cardiology having 200 beds and capacity to expand.

Chairing a meeting to review progress on the programme for improving healthcare facilities in OPDs, emergencies and indoor wards of major hospitals of provincial metropolis, the chief minister said the new building of Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Rahim Yar Khan, would be constructed at a cost of Rs6 billion.

He said the Jinnah Hospital pharmacy would also be expanded. Signboards are being displayed on suitable places in hospitals for providing guidance to the patients.
