LAHORE: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Shami has allocated cases relating to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to another division bench after head of the bench previously hearing such cases went on leave.

Now, the bench comprising Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan and Justice Asjad Javed Ghural will take cases, including the bail petition filed by PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.

The hearing of Ms Nawaz’s bail was earlier fixed for Oct 14 before the bench comprising Justice Ali Baqar Najafi and Justice Sardar Ahmad Naeem. However, the cause list of the bench was cancelled after Justice Najafi went on leave.
