BALDIA Town which has a population of about 800,000, only has two boys’ and two girls’ colleges for such a large population.
The attendance of teachers is very low. Because of this the education system is poor. Students take admission to private colleges and institutes to prepare for the exams. Private tuitions and colleges are active in this situation.
The population of Baldia comprise middle class people who are paying a huge fee for their children’s education. Many students are unable to study because they cannot afford the cost of education.
The authorities need to improve the teaching in government colleges and increase the number of government colleges.
