Bus set ablaze after two killed in accident

FAISALABAD: Enraged people set a bus on fire after its driver hit three motorcyclists, killing two of them on the spot on Jhang Road near Jhapal on Monday.

Three motorcyclists, identified as Majid, Sheraz and Khalid, were on their way when a bus hit them. Majid, 28, and Sheraz, 18, died on the spot, while Khalid was shifted to hospital in a serious condition.

Locals turned up on Jhang Road, threw traffic out of gear and set the bus on fire, turning it into ashes.

Later, the Rescue 1122 doused the fire. The bus crew managed to escape from the scene.
