National Games torch receives warm welcome at Railways headquarters

LAHORE: The 33rd National Games torch received warm welcome at the headquarters of Pakistan Railways here on Saturday.

The Games will run from October 25 to November 1 in Peshawar and the games torch relay ceremonies have been organised across the country with an aim to promote unity and a positive image of Pakistan.

Pakistan Railways Sports Board (PRSB) hosted the Games’ torch with zest and zeal and Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid, who is also Patron-in-Chief of PRSB, was the chief guest.

On the occasion, Shaikh Rashid said that Railways players have always performed well and have won laurels for the country.

Meanwhile, POA secretary Khalid Mehmood praised Railways for hosting the torch with great passion and enthusiasm.
