TIMERGARA: An unknown assailant gunned down assistant public prosecutor Mohammad Saeed advocate in the jurisdiction of Chakdara police station here on Thursday evening.
According to police and local residents, the assailant knocked at the door of Mohammad Saeed’s residence at 7:30pm and when he opened the door the assailant opened fire on him with his pistol. One of the bullets hit him in the head and he died on the spot. The attacker escaped on his motorcycle.
Mr Saeed was assistant public prosecutor with assistant commissioner Chakdara and was performing duties at Chakdara tehsil court.
