GUJRAT: Jamaat-e-Islami emir Senator Sirajul Haq says by expressing his desire to put 500 corrupt people of Pakistan into the jail, Prime Minister Imran Khan has himself admitted that he does not have any authority.

“As the head of the state, the PM always tells the world during his foreign tours that the Pakistani nation is corrupt. The head of a nation rather represents the whole nation on such an occasion,” he said while speaking to a public gathering in Phalia city of Mandi Bahauddin district on Wednesday where around 100 local political figures announced joining the JI.

Haq said PM Khan would often wish to learn from the China model of governance but he should actually learn lessons from the holy Quran and Sunnah.

He said the State Bank’s report showed the incumbent PTI government had borrowed record domestic loans only in one year, prices of medicines were sky rocketing but the rulers were busy in opening free meal centres. He said the nation required new factories instead of free meal centres to get rid of the poverty and unemployment.Punjab JI chief Dr Tariq Saleem, president of Kissan Board Pakistan Chaudhary Nisar Ahmed advocate, JI Mandi Bahauddin emir Rana Azeem, Riaz Farooq Sahi and other leaders also spoke on the occasion.
