Army thrash Fata

LAHORE, Aug 4: Army, Don Bosco Blues and Fazal-e-Umar Club moved into the second round of the All-Pakistan Don Bosco Jashan-e-Azadi basketball championship on Thursday. In the first match, Army beat Fata 62-40 after leading the first half 37-20.

Fazale Umer Club trounced Don Bosco Reds 92-31. The winners earned 46-17 points by the end of the first half. Farat Basit, Maqsood Kashif and Abdul Hadi excelled for the winners while Farhan Arif and Naveed played well for the losers. Don Bosco Blues triumphed over Rangers Blues 71-33. Ibrar, Umer and Sakhawat played well for the winners.
