Three killed on road

NAROWAL: Three members of a family died while as many others were injured when a bus hit a motorbike on Muridke Road on Saturday.

Muhammad Adeel, 22, along with his family, was on his way to his village and took a U-turn on Muridke Road near Tetleywali bridge where a bus hit them. Asma Bibi, 30, and her son Abdul Hadi, 4, died on the spot while Perveen Bibi, 60, lost her life after some time. Adeel, Fajr, 3, and Muhammad Hussain, 2, were injured.

A team of Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to the DHQ hospital. Dr Muhammad Bilal, who was on duty at the emergency ward, said first-aid was given to the injured and all of them were out of danger.

The bus driver escaped.
