UPPER DIR: A man and a woman were killed in the name of honour in Umarali area of Wari tehsil of Upper Dir district on Friday, police said.
The police quoted locals as saying that the woman’s relatives suspected her of having illicit relations with the man.
A relative found them together and opened firing, killing them on the spot.
The accused escaped the area after the incident.
The police said they had registered a case under section 302 of PPC and started further investigations. They, however, said no one was arrested in the case yet.
